Violin Beginner Red
i don't know what kind of violin i have. Help!?
so i have a violin that was given to me recently and it doesn't have any label of any kind. its a blood red violin color with fades. pretty much like in The Red Violin. The back of The Violin looks really fine in quality so its not a Beginner Violin. the sound is really powerful but i haven't tried it to its potential since the strings are metal. The only detail i found irregular was that in the violin, i saw 4 small wooden pyramid things going across the middle inside.
Why is it important for you to know what it is? Without a label you won't be able to get more than a general date of construction and a guess as to a country of origin. If it plays well and suits your needs, it's great, and you can't beat the price.
You can't tell the quality of a violin just by looking at the back.
