Jazz Violin
What's the name of that jazz band from Brooklyn?
There are 3 guys in the band: one plays bass, one plays violin, and the other plays flute (he can beat box on it, too!)
They came to my school in Downers Grove, Illinois last year and performed their songs. One song was the jazz version of Peter and the Wolf. I think their album was called Winter in June or something. Their music has absolutely no lyrics. Does anyone know their name or their website or something?

I wish I could give you a definitive answer, but there is no information available. Brooklyn is packed with as many jazz musicians as it is aspiring actors. This falls into what I call the happy accident category- I discovered a similar eclectic ensemble based in London named Oi Va Voy who started as something of a Klezmer band but branched into jazz. Rock violinist Anna Phoebe (Trans Siberian Orchestra) has played with them.
I know this doesn't help, but keep searching. You never know what else you'll find.
